I really enjoy all of the characters in the Hope Falls series. Gabe and Adriana may be my favorite though! Fire and Temptation hooked me from the start. The characters were sweet, vulnerable and once they tore down the walls around their heart, they let themselves love. Evan Bishop is a lone wolf or so his family calls him sometimes. He has been focused on his career and doesn't have much time for anything else. So what happens when he is injured on thr job and can't be an active member of his own hotshot crew?

When Gabe and Adriana meet, the chemistry is immediate. They both realize it and they both aren't sure what to do with it. When Adriana suggests they spend one hot night together, will that be the start of something amazing or will it be just what she suggested, one night and that's it? I enjoyed the book but found a few storylines that I would have liked a little more closure on. It seemed the drama with her agent was built up but didn't amount to much.

Returning to Hope Falls sort of feels like coming home, so many memories there with people you have grown to care about. And it was nice to run into couple characters from the original cast, I swear I had this smug smile on my face while reading about the book club 'I knew them way before...'. Hah.
